
While Mariah, already had her biggest first week sales ever (463,000 U.S.- Nielsen Soundscan) in a time where music sales are staggering. She looks to improve greatly on that number with some new and interesting marketing techniques. Mariah will be renting out the Empire State Building for promotion this weekend and it will lit in pink, lavender and white all weekend to celebrate the album color scheme. Im more of a fan of Mariah's older material, but I think this is a pretty cool and original idea for marketing. I predict platinum sales very soon...
