Shalonda.

Earlier today I took a visit to Trace magazine's blog and I found Shalonda.
I'm really glad I came across her music. She recently released a mixtape, "Just Go," where she creates some really dope material with a refreshing concept. The idea behind the mixtape involves reinterpretation of classic songs combined with modern records. One of my favorite moments, is when she sings Dorothy Moore's Misty Blue over Kanye West's Say You Will. She really pulls off the concept well throughout the entire mixtape. Definitely, check this out if you've been looking for some good music.
