Google Aptera Scheduled for October Release
Yes this is a Google Car...we are literally living in the future that I pictured as a child.
Last summer Google invested $2.75 million into Aptera Motors in an attempt to create a revolutionary, eco-friendly car (see Panda Ju's post). Fast forward a year and the Aptera 2e, an all-electric car that the company calls an “aerodynamic marvel,” has reached pre-production and is scheduled to start being manufactured in October of this year.
The fuel efficiency of 300mpg (0.78L/100km), when plugged in every 120 miles (190km), would make it one of the most fuel-efficient cars in the world. This means you can drive the three-wheeled vehicle 100 miles on a single charge and then fully recharge the vehicle through a standard outlet (110v) in less than 8 hours. In regard to speed, the Aptera 2e can go from zero to 60 in under 10 seconds, and has a top speed of 90 mph.
Right now, California is the only place to buy and drive one. 4,000 people have put down a $500 deposit on the 2e, however deposits are not guaranteed sales. Aptera has yet to put a firm price on the vehicle, but has given a rather wide range of $25,000 to $45,000. The company website indicates the commitment is to build 100,000 units by 2015.

I was a big fan of The Tipping Point, thought Blink was just alright, and so far this is really good. Outliers analyzes how people become successful and just like Gladwell's other works he destroys our common ways of thinking and conclusions that we have carried for why people are or become successful. He draws correlations between, Bill Gates, The Beatles, Michael Jordan and some of the world's most famous geniuses. So far its a good read...pick it up......

2009 Grammy Awards Show
Okay, so first, I have to say Twitter makes the Grammys so much more fun lol...This year's awards was actually pretty good in my opinion and much better than I expected. Radiohead was nuts, Swagger Like Us was dope, I enjoyed TI and Wayne's performances as well as Adele. HOWEVER, I don't EVER, EVER , EVER..............EVER wanna see or hear the Jonas Brothers with Stevie Wonder. That may have possibly been the worst thing I have ever seen in my life.
