Doin' Damage Video (Impakt Studio)

This is a video for the "freestyle," I did over Raekwon's - New Wu. The song was posted here some days ago, but here you can see some visual addition for it, shot by Impakt Studio. We did the video in New York in various locations. I think the video really captures the feel of the song and the shots are all really clean. Lemme know what you think. Peaceeeeee

Ronald Mallett Creating Real Time Machine

Ronald Mallet, is inventing a REAL time machine. Sounds crazy I know, but there has been a lot of press and research funding put into his project. Mallet is also the subject of an upcoming film by Spike Lee, that is based on Mallet's memoir. This is a great watch, if you're a nerd like me.

Its rare to see Jay open up, if even just slightly. I credit this to the interviewer. I would love for hip-hop journalist to actually do research and ask better questions such as Marr does. With that said, this isn't a perfect interview. Overall, its definitely worth a watch.

Omen- Doin' Damage (New Wu Freestyle)

Decided to let something go today from the mixtape, this is one of the few songs on the tape where I don't rap on my own production, but I love this beat. Also, shot a guerilla style video for this, that should be coming later this week. Mixtape - "Afraid of Heights" should be coming sometime around November. Peace and I appreciate the listen.

Adventures of Omen

Welcome to September. It seems like it really came quickly this year. As, I'm in the process of working on my upcoming project, "Afraid of Heights," I've been really inspired by this month's music releases. Raekwon's follow up to the classic Only Built for Cuban Linx drops on the 8th, Blueprint 3 on the 11th and the once-shelved but finally being released Q-Tip album, "Kamaal The Abstract," drops on the 15th. Music hasn't been this exciting in awhile. I'm used to the older established artists delivering, but even some of the newcomers are making some good music. So, with that said, I can't wait for ya'll to hear this project. Most of the production is all me, with the exception of a few joints. There will be a few exciting features, but I can't say who yet. (If you follow this blog, you can guess at least one of them)
Anyway, as you can see I've cut all my hair off. I like it...I think.
This intermission is over and you can return to your inspiration from the Academy...
